Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! Kyle was patiently waiting for me to wake on this morning and he was a little upset with me when I made him wait to open gifts until I got cleaned up. As soon as we started opening gifts, he forgot and was excited for the cool things Santa brought him. Thanks to everyone for the awesome gifts!
Kyle got me pearls - necklace and bracelet!
Kyle's mom made these towels for us! And she also made me a fall quilt purse - she's so talented and she rocks!Kyle has two keys to his heart - food and gift cards!
Kyle collects PEZ and I found him these cool Star Trek ones! Digital photo frame. All of the wonderful Christmas cards from our family and friends....After we opened gifts, we got ready to go to the Strattons. We spent the rest of the day there. We opened gifts, ate, visited, played Wii, then ate some more!

Jo gave me some cake decorating "supplies"!!!

Christmas Eve

Kyle and I took pictures on Christmas Eve! We are just too cute! :)
We hosted Christmas Eve dinner at our house and the Strattons, the Nields, and Grandma and Grandpa Stoney joined us. It was a nice night. Kyle cooked prime rib and it was really good. It was nice to be able to spend the day with our great friends. Before dinner, we each opened a gift.Only the cutest baby on the face of the planet, Zoe June! And MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL - Christmas Eve is my mom's birthday! Hope you had a wonderful birthday MOM!!! We love you and are so proud to have you as a mother! Thanks for bringing me into this awesome world. Wish we could have been with you for this day!

Louisiana trip!

We left for Louisiana on 12/4 and it was nonstop from the moment we got there to the moment we left on 12/8! We went to D.I.'s cajun restaurant on Friday night to have dinner and listen to a cajun band.
My mom, me, and my sister, Raven...
My dad and I...My sister and her husband, Chad...Kyle and I...Tanya and I...Jaiden and I...Silly Jaiden and Wes...On Saturday, my family had their annual holiday dinner. It was great to see everyone since we had not seen most of them since the last holiday dinner in 2007. The kids are growing up fast! We had a great time and our bellies were definitely full!!

Then, on Sunday, we met with Tanya and Wes and had lunch. Afterwards, we had the girls open their gifts from Nanny.Love,

Christmas tree decorating!

So we got our 9 foot Christmas tree at Hobby Lobby for 50% off!!! Also got all the decorations for it at 50% off as well, so I was pretty stoked! So....I didn't realize how much time this monster would take me to put up and decorate. Kyle helped me with the assembly, then he went and watched two movies while I "fluffed" it. It took what seemed like an ETERNITY to put this monster up. But, in the end, it turned out beautiful and I am so stinkin happy!!!

After it was "fluffed" and after the ribbon had been placed on it...
The beautiful ornaments...

Christmas card making!

I got started on my Christmas cards around September this year. I must admit that I did not work on them every day or every free moment that I had, but it was VERY time consuming. On the finished product, the CHEER was hand-stiched. Yep, many, many hours spent on the couch stitching while watching the DVR or some trash TV show.

Lilly wanted to help mommy...

Finished product. The outside...
The inside (many variations due to having tons of rub-ons)...
