Sydney - Updates

Sydney is now 9 months old! I can't believe how quickly the past 9 months have gone by. Overall, Sydney is a very good and happy baby. She has a temper and likes things done her way (already). She's crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on everything. She will likely be walking soon....at least before her first birthday for sure. She's had her fair share of ear infections and sicknesses, but she always keeps her smile! :)

Sydney has two teeth now (bottom front). She still doens't have much hair, but it has definitely grown since she was born. Sydney enjoys eating and her favorites include cherrios, toast, and other finger foods, especially fruit and carrots. She's still sleeping through the night, although she has had many nights of waking in the middle of the night...especially when she's sick.

Sydney is a very curious little girl. She loves to search out new things to play with and new things to climb up and on. She's had a couple of minor spills so far and I'm sure there are many more to come as she continues to learn and then walk.

Sydney has the best smile. It melts my heart each time she smiles or laughs. She loves to giggle and clap her hands. Sydney loves to watch TV and for the longest time her favorite show was Yo Gabba Gabba. Lately she has been more into Ni Hao Kai Lan, Team Umizoomi, and WordWorld. She is fascinated by all of the colors and voices.

Sydney is a little chunky monkey! She's bigger than many of the kids her age. She's very tall and has a very long torso. She's about 22 pounds (we have a well visit next week to get all of her stats) and is wearing mostly 12 month clothes. She's still in daycare about 1 day per week.

I'm still working at least 2 days per week, although I do pick up extra shifts here and there. Kyle is still working at Wal-Mart in Globe. We are definitely keeping busy and out of this desert heat. We are looking forward to fall very much. Kyle's family is coming for a visit for Thanksgiving and my family (parents and sister/brother-in-law) is coming for Christmas. We are so excited to have them all here.

Mostly, I'm excited to start planning Sydney's 1st birthday parties. We will have one with all of our friends, then another on the day of her birthday with my family (and whoever else wants to come).

We feel so blessed to have this wonderful life. As you can see by my lack of posting, Sydney is definitely keeping us busy. I will try harder to post more often. I post many of my pictures and videos on facebook...it is just easier and less time consuming. :)

Hope everyone is doing well.

Love,
K&K&Syd
