At the Arboretum... I love this photo that Kyle took (kinda looks like the hummingbird is pooping...lol)...In Sedona...
My sister and brother-in-law closed on their house last week!!! I am so excited for them. It brings me back to just over one year ago when we closed on our house. I can't believe how much we have been able to accomplish in just a year. We are so thankful and blessed to have just about everything that we've wanted.
A couple weeks ago, Kyle's air conditioning went out in his car and upon bringing it to be checked out, they found many other things wrong with it. Most importantly, if not fixed, he would not have passed the AZ inspection and it would have cost us thousands to fix it. We decided to just purchase a new car. He is so excited about his Subaru Forester!!! And just tonight, we used it to haul a 9 foot artificial tree for our living room. I really like it.Kyle and I have really been enjoying bike riding. The weather has been absolutely amazing lately!!!
Kyle bought me an office chair (for my scrapbook room) for Valentines Day. We got it from Staples and it totally rocks!!! I love it! I had been contemplating for a long time about what to do in my scrapbook room. I was still on the fence about doing something "permanent" like cabinets. While we were at Staples, I discovered an awesome furniture set that was just what I wanted. Kyle worked really hard to locate all of the pieces at about a zillion different Staples (online was out of stock). We finally found all of the pieces and my scrapbook room is very near complete. It looks amazing and it is so organized and functional now. I am so thrilled at how it turned out. I will post pictures of it at a later time, but I'm pumped that I can check off yet another New Year's must!!!
And for the biggest update of all...As of this morning, I have lost 22 pounds! I am so excited. None of my clothes fit well anymore, but for once, I don't mind. I did find some reasonably priced shirts from Old Navy and those should hold me over for another 25 pounds or so!
We hope that March brings many more blessings to us as well as all of our family and friends.
Love,
K&K
